Taylor is a deep-sea ecologist with a special interest in how invertebrates relate to their environment at cold seeps, in the polar regions, submarine canyons and deep ocean trenches. Her current projects include exploring hadal ecosystems and assessing human impact on the deep-sea through investigations of marine debris in submarine canyons.
